Lisa Wise was a long-time teller at our Hartford branch who passed away unexpectedly in December 2015 from an aneurysm. Her husband Dave and daughters, Melissa and Laken, along with the team at Elevate are planning a Lisa's Light Aneurysm Awareness 5k event on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Woodlawn Park. The opening ceremony will take place at 9:45 a.m. with the 5k run/walk beginning at 10 a.m.

You can register for the race. The cost is $30 per participant and includes a race t-shirt and freebies.

All proceeds will go to the Fibromuscular Dysplasia Society of America (FMDSA) to fund research efforts for the rare disease which caused Lisa’s aneurysm to form. Download the Lisa's Light Poster 2016 for more details.
