Hartford Branch Drive-Thru Banking and Parking Lot Renovation

by Jen Novotny | Jul 19, 2018

**UPDATE: The night depository will remain open. While the night depository drive-thru lane IS closed, you may park across the street and walk over to drop your items in the night depository.**

First National Bank’s Hartford branch will begin a drive-thru banking and parking lot renovation on August 6 to improve the flow of traffic through these areas and make them easier to navigate.

Key project improvements include expanded drive-thru lanes with new overhead signage, an improved commercial lane, a new ATM, and new on-site directional signs.

We want to make you aware that the construction process will affect your normal routine for visiting the bank. We apologize in advance for the temporary inconvenience this will cause.

The construction will be completed in three phases with the first phase including demolition and reconstruction of the drive-thru banking area.

DURING THE FIRST PHASE OF THE PROJECT (Start date: August 6)

  • There will be no drive-thru banking services available, including the drive-thru lanes, the commercial lane, or the night depository.
  • UPDATE: The night depository will remain open. While the night depository drive-thru lane IS closed, you may park across the street and walk over to drop your items in the night depository.
  • The existing ATM will remain open for service.
  • The existing customer parking lot also will remain open during this initial phase to provide access to the bank’s lobby.

The first phase of the project is expected to last 6-8 weeks.

The second and third phases of the project include renovations to the customer (south) and employee (north) parking lots, respectively. We will not begin construction on the existing customer parking lot until the new drive-thru lanes are operational. At that time, customer parking for lobby access will temporarily be shifted to a portion of the bank’s current employee (north) parking lot.

The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2018 but is conditional on the weather. During construction, the affected areas will be fenced off for the safety of the construction workers and bank customers.

Throughout the entire project, customers will continue to have access to an ATM. A new ATM will be installed during the second phase of the project, but the existing ATM will remain active until the new ATM is operational.

Again, we apologize for this temporary inconvenience as we improve our facilities to better serve you. We will keep you up-to-date on the progress of the construction and changes that may affect you via our website and Facebook page.
