PHASE TWO: Hartford Branch Drive-Thru Banking and Parking Lot Renovation

by Jen Novotny | Sep 12, 2018

First National Bank’s Hartford branch recently began phase two of its drive-thru banking and parking lot renovation to improve the flow of traffic through these areas and make them easier to navigate.

The newly expanded drive-thru lanes, with an improved commercial lane and new overhead signage, opened on Monday, Sept. 10. The construction has now transitioned to the demolition and reconstruction of the customer parking area.

The construction process continues to affect your normal routine for visiting the bank. We apologize in advance for the temporary inconvenience this will cause.

DURING THE SECOND PHASE OF THE PROJECT (Start date: Sept. 10)

  • Customer parking is temporarily relocated to the north parking area (current employee parking area).
  • A new ATM is being installed, however, the existing ATM will remain open for service until the new ATM is operational.
  • For your safety, we strongly advise you not to walk through the drive-thru banking area to gain access to the main entrance. Please follow the the directions on the temporary customer parking and lobby access signage to help you get where you're going.
  • The affected areas will be fenced off for the safety of the construction workers and bank customers.

The second phase of the project is expected to last 4-6 weeks with completion around Oct. 16.

The third and final phase of the project includes renovation of the employee (north) parking lot. We will not begin construction on the existing employee parking lot until the new customer parking area is complete. Despite more than a week of heavy rain, the entire project is still slated for completion by mid-November 2018, but remains conditional on the weather.

Again, we apologize for this temporary inconvenience as we improve our facilities to better serve you. We will keep you up-to-date on the progress of the construction and changes that may affect you via our website and Facebook page.
