Community Connection Social Media Challenge

Banner that says Communication Connection with people building a community

As we roll into the fall months and the upcoming holidays, we find ourselves still in the messy middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. We know what will bring us through this difficult time is focusing on what we have in common and coming together as a unified community. Now, more than ever, is a time to love our neighbors.

In this spirit of Community Connection, Forte Bank is hosting a social media contest to promote community unity. We are asking community members to perform or take part in an act of service that improves the community and submit it to us by posting about it on the bank’s social media pages (Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn) or by emailing it to info@fortebankwi.com with the subject line, “Community Connection Social Media Contest.”

We would LOVE to see photos and videos of your act of service along with a short description of what you did.

Your act of service can be anything, big or small, as long as it improves the community or the life of someone in it. You could walk your neighbor’s dog, drop off treats at the local fire department, pick up garbage while you’re out for a hike, volunteer with one of the MANY non-profit organizations in Washington County, make a charitable donation or donate food to the food pantry in Hartford, Slinger or West Bend. Need more ideas? Check out this service project list.

Winners will be chosen every two weeks and will receive a surprise $20 gift card to a local business. There is no limit to the number of times you can enter, however you may only win once. Winners will be chosen randomly. Please see our full contest rules for all the details.

We hope this social media challenge inspires you to do something good for our community!
