April 20: Money Smart Week Talk, 4 p.m. at the Jack Russell Library in Hartford
April 21: Fraud Prevention Seminar, 10 a.m., presented by the Wisconsin Fraud Protection Bureau, at West Bend Senior Activities Center, 2378 W. Washington St., West Bend. No RSVP needed.
April 23: Fraud Prevention Seminar, 10 a.m., presented by the Wisconsin Fraud Protection Bureau, at Forte Bank - Hartford in the Community Room. No RSVP needed.
April 24: Arbor Day Plant Giveaway at all branches, all day, while supplies last.
April 25: Shred Fest, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., at Forte Bank in Richfield, 1297 Hwy 175, Richfield. Free and open to the public. It’s the perfect time to clear out those old files and protect yourself from identity theft. Bring your sensitive documents* and watch them get shredded onsite by a professional shredding team. It’s fast, secure, and oddly satisfying.
What Can Be Shredded
• Papers with staples, paper clips, or rubber bands
• Documents containing Social Security numbers, birth dates, PINs, or passwords
• Banking, financial, and medical documents
• Leases, contracts, or letters with signatures
• Pre‑approved credit card applications
